Refund Policy
Blackbird + Bones Refund Policy
- Due to the personalised nature of custom jewellery, all custom pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
If your jewellery arrives damaged or defective, please contact us ASAP. We will assess the issue and may offer a replacement or repair at no additional cost.
Sizing Issues:
- We send out ring sizers in our kits. You can also purchase a sizer here. If you have used our ring sizer and we made it to that size there should be no sizing issues. If there is an issue, we can provide resizing services for a fee of $100. Postage both ways is payable for resizing returns.
Order Changes:
- If you need to amend your order please contact us as soon as possible.
- You are welcome to add on any jewellery (providing we have enough wax) gemstones or engravings to your order at anytime.
Refunds:
- As a rule, refunds are not applicable once a piece has been made. All sales are final. Defective jewellery/sizing errors will be discussed on a case by case basis.
To complete your order, we require your wax impression kit to be returned to our studio within 8 weeks of you receiving your kit. During this time, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you via the email address provided at checkout as a reminder.
If we have not received your wax impression within 8 weeks, and you have not made contact to arrange an extension, your order will be considered abandoned. Abandoned orders are not eligible for a refund. A store credit note to the value of your original order will be issued upon request, valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

If you have placed an order, full refunds less an administration fee of $20AUD will be provided if you change your mind within 48 hours of your purchase.
No refunds will be provided for change of mind at any time after this 48 hour period.
If you have made reasonable attempts to take a nose print/paw print, we have guided you in using other materials, you don't have a photo to use the CAD method or it is just not feasible to get a print we can discuss this with you to work towards a mutually agreeable outcome.
USA Customers: No refunds will be provided due to implantation or change of tariff. Shipping pricing is subject to change and Blackbird + Bones reserves the right to ensure that postage and duties are paid for in accordance with the requirements of the US government and border control.
